Youth Parliament

In order to develop democratic ethos in the younger generation the Ministry conducts Youth Parliament Competition in various categories of schools and colleges/universities. The Youth Parliament Scheme was first introduced in the Schools in Delhi in 1966-67.
The purposes of Youth Parliament are as follows:-

• To develop in students an insight into the working parliament.
• To make students consider public issues and form their opinion on them.
• To train students in the technique of group discussion.
• This year our Vidyalaya has participated in Youth Parliament.
